Today I took the 2500 for rust prevention and got the tailgate 'recall' done. What a bunch of crap. That recall screwed the CPO process from the dealer as it was released the exact day I bought it....so obviously they didnt even know to get it in. CPO hasnt activated yet because the recall wasnt cleared...grrr. So hopefully I'll call tomorrow and it will be all square.

The French started the yellow light standard in the 30s. They claimed it allowed for greater visibility but got proven otherwise over the years.
Gotcha. Thanks for clarification never heard that before. They yellow does preform better in harsh conditions not necessarily fog but rainy miserable days lots better.

Back in the 70's, I drove a Mini Clubman in France. Had to install yellow plastic covers on the headlights (Frog Goggles).

Getting back to RAM: What did I do? Drove it, washed it, 5k oil change w/Mobil One and no issues. One of the better vehicles I have owned.

Technically, I don’t have a 5th gen yet, but today makes 5 months that I placed my order for a Longhorn 1500. Still waiting for delivery. It’s getting old waiting. Never thought I’d be waiting this long. Shipped back on November 21st.

This week I added a remote tailgate drop and a bought a set of tow mirrors.

The remote tailgate was easy. I bought a refurbished OEM key fob off of ebay for $99 and had a local locksmith program it. He only charges $10 for programming the fob and cutting the key. Apparently my truck was already set up for it.

I also bought a set of Snap and Zap tow mirrors. I had these on my 4th gen and I loved them so getting them again was a no brainer.
