Post up how you like em. I have a tendency to kill CVs myself.

I've heard good things about the Trakmotivs. I ended up get the GSP "extreme duty" or whatever from RockAuto since Cardone HDs were out of stock.

I’m pretty sure I tore my zone UCAs when I had my front sway bar disconnected… I’ve been eyeballing the fox 2.5 dsc but may cut back and do fox 2.0 as I think I may have a bad front strut because I was planning on saving for the 2.5s. How’d you break this set?

Just a regular Sunday drive looking for Deer, Pretty sure I must of damaged them in that muskeg this just finished them off. Had some pretty gnarly vibration on the way home... lol..

Turning my wheel by hand at full extension, I could see the front diff move when the CV binded in that one spot.... lol...

@DILLIGAF I finally had time to install my Trakmotive extended travel CV Axles as well. Like yours, mine went on no problem and I really like the new angles, as opposed to the stock versions with my lift. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to take pics during the job, had rain moving in and running out of time. Installed new struts, lower control arms and brakes at the same time. For anyone considering replacing their CV’s instead of paying a shop, it’s pretty straight forward.

Is it actually pushing where the angle of the joint is to allow for more travel?

Man I'm really debating even installing these now, was going to get the Cardone HD's first until you originally posted this. Still rocking the stockers, but I'm not nearly as hard on my gear as you so who knows lol

I'm not an axle scientist/engineer, but it seems that to make room for more clearance/better angles, you'd need thinner profiles in some parts, which would need higher quality/stronger materials for those areas. I'm not so sure how these aftermarket companies could make them properly and keep the cost affordable.

I recently blew up mine. I pulled into a parking lot that was partially snow covered, felt it bind hit 2wd ( had it 4wd because side streets were icey) I guess it didn't disengage as I was pulling slowly into the parking spot it went BOOM
Have a replacement shaft installed, hoping to get warranty. I will be looking for something else soon.
I have a 16 Rebel with 3" rough country struts, but only get about 2-1/2 due to the winch behind the front bumper so nothing extreme.
