Anybody know what this light means on my dash ? I've searched the owners manual and google, cant seem to find it, thanks for the help20230113_122245.jpg

I can’t find that exact symbol anywhere but, it looks like a hazard warning. Assuming the hazard triangle would move to the appropriate location on the circle depending on where the hazard is detected. Posting your trim level and options might help you get a definitive answer rather than my guess.

I can’t find that exact symbol anywhere but, it looks like a hazard warning. Assuming the hazard triangle would move to the appropriate location on the circle depending on where the hazard is detected. Posting your trim level and options might help you get a definitive answer rather than my guess.
Thank you, I just noticed it today eating lunch in my truck with the truck running at work so maybe it's detecting the building in front of my truck or something. Strange that i can't seem to find it in the owner's manual or anywhere else. Thanks again buddy I will keep digging

Strange, it's still there even while driving....can't figure this one out..

PLS post trim level and what level dashboard. ALSO, U can go into settings and scroll to the lower left side and illuminate and it change the settings up/down on lower left, should say what it is. I am thinking Compass, display.

COMPASS DISPLAY, TOOK me a while to find. It is displaying, but not showing calibrated. Go into your manual to find out how to calibrate. I will display the instructions from my 2019 on how to calibrate. May be different on 2022, tho doubt it.

ACCORDING to manual, these are the items that can be displayed in lower left panel: Out of those, the only thing makes sense is compass. Go into settings for your display settings in your truck, go to where U wet the displays on dashboard, go to lower left, and cycle through possibilities. It should tell U what U R selecting.

After pressing the “Compass Settings” button on the
touchscreen, the following settings will be available:

• Compass Variance is the difference between Magnetic North and Geographic North. To compensate for the differences
the variance should be set for the zone where the vehicle is driven, per the zone map. Once properly set, the
compass will automatically compensate for the differences, and provide the most accurate compass heading.
• Keep magnetic materials away from the top of the instrument panel, such as iPod’s, Mobile Phones, Laptops and
Radar Detectors. This is where the compass module is located, and it can cause interference with the compass sensor,
and it may give false readings.

NOTE: Press the “Calibration” button on the touchscreen to change this setting. This compass is self-calibrating,
which eliminates the need to manually reset the compass. When the vehicle is new, the compass may appear erratic
until it is calibrated. You may also calibrate the compass by pressing the “ON” button on the touchscreen and completing
one or more 360-degree turns (in an area free from large metal or metallic objects). The compass will now
function normally.

Look at 5:20 2nd Video. Once calibrated, the Compass will have a "Letter" indicating direction currently being traveled, the red little arrow I am not sure what it does, indicate. I looked at my truck and regardless of what direction I go, that red up arrow stays lit, so for tah part, I have no clue.

It’s the compass. Research is telling me the EVIC compass is connected to the infotainment system. If you have your infotainment system turned off you won’t get a compass reading on your EVIC. It may also need to be calibrated by driving in a circle.

Wow thank you so much for those videos and the very detailed information/ explanation, its greatly appreciated.... I hope to have time tomorrow to now customize the layout of my instrument panel. That should be it for this thread, thanks again everyone

U may want to change your truck year and description in your Avatar. You could also go into the "signature" area of your posts and post some info on your truck. Having specific info available helps when you ask form assistance, as there may be specific changes on stuff even in same year depending upon trim levels.
(Look at my entry at the bottom and see my signature, at least add info on your particular truck-build).

U may want to change your truck year and description in your Avatar. You could also go into the "signature" area of your posts and post some info on your truck. Having specific info available helps when you ask form assistance, as there may be specific changes on stuff even in same year depending upon trim levels.
(Look at my entry at the bottom and see my signature, at least add info on your particular truck-build).

Change name, now that I do not know. U would have to ask an Admin, Rule 18 be one.
