Anyone ever mount some cubes on the mirrors? There’s a good flat surface and maybe run wires inside easier ?

I might do this! lol

I put two 4” side shooters under my truck and wired them to my reverse wire in the trailer plug. I used a 2 3/4” muffler clamp to mount them to my receiver hitch. This way they’re tucked up out of the way and more adjustable than a flush mount that you have to cut holes in your bumper for. Plus, if you trade in your truck like I did, you can take your lights off and reuse them on the new truck.View attachment 203794View attachment 203795View attachment 203796

That looks easy enough. Are the tubes 2.75" diameter or is that just what size clamp you used?

My Rigids were round, so metal round saw. Others with square, use cutting disc.

I have this similar model. I have a 2018 1500 Big Horn.
I like the 2 separate lights as they can go in the front bump spots easily.

But also though of getting a new license plate mount that sits in the top two screws and see if I can fit the curved light bar across that section instead of the two. Decisions decisons

The front bumper is literally made for a slim light bar.

Replaced my fogs with diode dynamics ss3 pods and dual ss6 in the bumper openings.

I like the flush mount rear lights, but didn't feel like cutting then into my bumper. I had done that on my 95 Dodge. I went with more of a "oval" style LED, and used "roll bar" light clamps, attaching them to the trailer hitch mount.

Do you have a link to the "roll bar" light clamps you attached to the trailer hitch mount?

This is what I used, and got them from Amazon. They AKD, 2.5" light bar mounting brackets. Just did a quick look and I see they are "currently unavailable". However, I did find another mfg that looks like the same type of fitment. Again, on Amazon. Hope that helps. FYI, I'm very happy with them.

Thanks- I'll have to check my back side and see if I have a similar setup to mount to. Do you have a link to the lights, too? Have you been happy with them?

If you have the round style class IV hitch mount, the brackets will work great with a lot of adjustment. The lights are from Superbrightleds. I went with the rectangular style for the lower profile and to keep them closer to the truck. Yes, I have been very happy with both the brackets and the lights. These are the ones I have,

I preordered and received the new diode dynamics hitch reverse light. Fits inside the OEM hitch and is basically a SS1 square pod with a plastic insert that snaps into the hitch receiver. Comes with a T harness that plugs into the factory trailer wiring for a clean install. I’m going to mod the harness for my additional license plate reverse light but this is a clean option and the pod provides decent additional light. I will remove my dual pods and install with the new rear bumper this spring in an attempt to color match and clean up/streamline the truck. I don’t tow often but it pops out easily and doesn’t affect towing.
