I purchased a camera system for the rear of my fifth wheel, and the monitor clips on the rear view mirror. Well, while I was manhandling the mirror, it just popped off the windshield mount. How do you get this thing back on? The three blades on the back of the mirror are very, very stiff, and don't just want to snap back on the nut. This is a 2021 RAM 3500

I don't know the right term for it, but it's a twist-lock sort of thing. Put the base over the nut so that the base is flush with the windshield, then twist the base on the nut until it stops.

Thanks. I was able to get it back on this morning after a good nights sleep and a clear mind.
