Again I appreciate it but your the third one to post that, that method doesn't seem to be working for me
Are you pushing the skinny pedal into the carpet fairly hard, maybe you aren't pushing the gas pedal far enough down,or quick enough, if you have the key in the right postion. You have to do the pedal push to the floor and back up 3 times with-in 10 seconds. That's all i got

Yeah I’ve had the same thoughts and tried it many times with slower/faster and more or less distance between pushes. It’s just messed up

Does your truck have a pedal commander on it or some other device hooked into the gas pedal?

Not to my knowledge, it's bone stock.

I haven't found any related settings on alfaobd but I'm still learning how that works

Since you have some sort of diagnostic tool, I would recommending doing a scan for faults. My initial suspicion is you may have lost communication to either the accelerator pedal module or the cluster.

Stupidest of all questions I know lol… but i can’t figure out how to reset the oil change reminder on my 09 1500. I did an oil change when I bought it but can’t figure out how to get rid of the pop up reminder thing, YouTube said to press the gas pedal 3 times in accessory mode and then start, another said to press it 5 times, neither worked.
Mine just resets automatically when I get an oil change.

Will have to try this, as I have been getting the "Oil change required" notice for the past few days and I last had the oil in my 2018 changed 2,100 miles ago -- just before Thanksgiving. Dip stick shows full and clean.

I don't believe this will work on a 2018, it's more electronic on those, have to go through some menus in the dash I think. Check your owners manual or look it up if you don't have one.

Just an update for people who get as frustrated as I did this last oil change. 2018 2500 Tradesman with key. Turned 2 times to engage message and tried every combination of pushing the right arrow on my steering wheel. Tried the key on and 3 taps of the gas pedal and it cleared it. Shouldn't be this hard.

2012 Ram 1500 w 3.7 WILL NOT clear oil change reminder. Mine has the oil can symbol (no DIC) that illuminates every third crank or so. Tried every combination of ignition switch and gas pedal strokes I can think of and it doesn't reset. I've noticed that Chrysler sensors seem to fail with great frequency. Any guesses as to what sensor controls the reset?
