Fog lights not stable

Just found this thread. Been gloomy here in West Michigan (like <1% sunshine in 2023) and had my fog lights on a lot after dark in the gloom and fog from warm air over the blizzard snow we had Christmas weekend. Noticed the fog lights bounce the LED beam all over the road. Crawled under the bumper tonight and it wobbles 3/8" - 1/2''. Will try some of the suggestions in this thread or buy the new aftermarket ones.

As it's been miserable weather and I didn't want to be crawling around too much under my RAM, I opted for the cable-tie option. I positioned the wobbly housings where I wanted them and anchored them in place with three strategically-located heavy-duty cable ties on each. Next time out on what's been an ever-present period of gloom here in West Michigan (no snow, just drizzle and fog and temps hovering just above freezing) there was no more wobble to the fog light beams. Problem solved - for now anyway.
