Hey y’all, I was wondering if y’all think a v6 efan swap is worth it? I have heard you can achieve a little better mpg as well as hp is this true? Also is it just a plug and play or do I need a time?
Thanks

Free's up engine space. Improves initial throttle response due to less drag. Yeah you need a tune for it to activate it so it kicks on before 220. Otherwise, I believe you have to run AC to get it to turn on sooner. Did not notice any mpg improvement.

Have been using an E-fan setup for over 3 years and have towed heavy. No issue with cooling.

Yes, it's worth it. I've been running the v6 efan with tune and without the clutch fan for at least 5 years. Removing the clutch fan frees up some parasitic drag on the engine as well
