@Jasfish18 I have this setup on my 2017 (LT285/70R17 Cooper Discoverer ATP on the same 17"x8" wheels they put on the Rebels that year). They were the least expensive respectable tires I could find at Discount Tire, and so far they have performed well. I like the extra side wall flex when mounted on these rims, it helps offset the stiffer Bilstein shocks I installed at the same time. They are load range E, but I wouldn't know it since the taller side wall more than compensates for any extra stiffness from an E rated tire (in my opinion). Then again, I wouldn't have minded a D or even C load range, as I don't really take this thing on rough trails where they get cut up. I suppose Houston has its own puncture hazards, so maybe I'm lucky they are Es.
There is about 1/2" spacing from the outer profile of the tire to the upper control arm. I have my front raised by 2.1", but I don't think that matters. I chose that size combination because I know the Rebels run it stock without any problems, so it was safe. If you want detailed pictures of the clearance, let me know.
