Hey everybody, I have a 2015 2500 with the upfitter option. What I would like to do is wire in my light bar to the high beams but also use one of the upfitter switches to use as an arming switch. Basically when in town I won’t arm the bar so I won’t blind people when I flash them with just the high beams, but in the middle of nowhere I arm the bar and now it comes on and off with the high beams. Has anyone done this and if so do you have a wiring schematic.

The factory up-fitter switches have relays under the hood that are fuse protected, use one to power the LED light bar. Then use a sealed automotive relay with the coil wired to one of the high beams. A relay like this: PICO 5593PT Waterproof Mini Relay https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007UTFJHS/

This is awesome, but My brain can’t wrap itself around this without a wiring diagram, do you happen to have one?

Don't have an exact wiring diagram but using a diagram for the relay, I'll describe it.
Terminal:
#30 wire to output from the up-fitter circuit
#30a goes to the light bar.
#86 positive wire going to high beam
#85 negative wire going to high beam
Use a voltmeter to determine which wire is +/-, don't just ground the relay negative as it could cause issues with the bulb out detection.
In the video, the pink wire he plugs into the grey connector is what goes to you relay #30
You could do the same thing if you wanted reverse LED pods but you would wire the relay 86/85 to the trailer reverse circuit in the 7pin plug.

Crash68 and JC4041, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I did change it up on the 87A and went to 87 instead and it worked exactly how I wanted it to. I think it might be due to different relay, not sure though. Here is a drawing I made of how I wired it up.

Thanks for the sketch Bartsram!! I am going to try to set this up in the morning. I am a real novice at this but I think I can get this figured out. I have not done anything with a relay before but I have done enough reading to get the idea. The only twist I am going to have in mine is that the light bar is both amber and white light (M&R 30" behind the grill kit). I am planning to add the wire shown added to your sketch so on start up the bar will glow amber, then when the bright lights come on it will turn to white. If I can get it to work it should be bad ass. See any issues with splitting the power out of the Aux switch like I have shown it? Highbeam Wiring.jpeg

If I configure the dual color light bar as shown above then it will burn amber until the high beams come on and it gets hit with power on the white light input then it burns white. This works great except for during the day when only the DRL's are on the light bar will be amber but the other amber running lights will be off. That may look a little unfinished. I looked up the PINOUT's for the headlight and it also identifies the wire for the parking lamps. Does anyone know which of the parking lamp wires I would want to tap if I were going to set up the amber portion of the light bar similar to the white light portion where it would trigger the relay and turn on the amber portion of the light bar only when the other amber lights on the truck were lit? I am thinking I could use either#16 or #8 to get it to trigger the amber portion of the light bar when the running lights were on. Headlight Wiring Pinout.png

It worked!!! Light bar is sweet, runs a low key amber that matches the other marker lights until the high beams come on then it switches to high output white. The only wiggle in the program is that the electrical plug into the headlight did not match the one above. The one in my truck (2022 3500 Laramie) was a 12 pin plug. The high beam wire was in the same place as the plug above but I had to go looking for the parking lamp pin out.
