so my fuel sender stopped working on my ram 1500. 2014. Anything less then half a tank it reads empty.

So if i am going through the trouble of dropping the tank i guess i should just put a new fuel pump assembly in.

Mopar looks to be 300 bucks. Any of the aftermarket brands reliable? that are little cheaper

My 2015's fuel sender went goofy also, it will occasionally go to zero, trip the CEL, etc.

Bought a replacement pump assembly by Delphi, hopefully it is a decent replacement.

The pump itself is working, so going to hold off changing as long as possible. Hope the Delphi lasts.

I had the same issue and this was my issue. I replaced with a Delphi pump in November and haven’t had any problems yet :)FCA0647F-42F7-44AF-B7C8-EE537717F7B1.jpeg
