As the title says, I’m wondering if it is possible to swap the location of the 12V and the USB power in my dash console. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and the 12V receptacle is on the driver side and the USB power port is on the passenger side. I feel like it makes more sense for me to have it reversed, mainly due to the accessories that I use in my vehicle. Without taking the dash apart and looking, has anyone ever done this or is aware of it being possible? Any advice or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll try to be of some help to the best of my knowledge.

My 2019 Ram Classic has two 12v cigarette lighters instead. The wires are long enough to reach the outlets. In theory, they should both be the same length.

If you're willing to follow the wiring of both plugs, you should be able to reroute them to the correct positioning. As for the outlets, if I remember, they can be popped out of the plastic.
Here's a reference of how it looked behind my center bezel with the two 12v plugs highlighted. They were both gray with an inner red color.

If you are comfortable with it, you can always splice the wires and reroute them yourself by extending them to the correct outlet location. I would first verify that the outlets can be popped out and swapped safely before doing so.

I had to extend the wires for my 12v cigarette lighters when I was putting in a full center console and it wasn't hard to do at all. You just need appropriate wire thickness and any insulation to wrap it around with.

If you want the USB power port closer to you for charging a phone, buy a USB Quick charger that plugs into the power port as they'll charge your phone quicker than the vehicle USB port.

They might want to keep their phone connectivity feature intact such as carplay or android auto.

If not, then yea, 100%

If you only need usb on the driver side, I would recommend to just swap out the 12v for USB. For a clean swap, with no splice and taps, you can got with this adapter

then use something like

Also to keep in mind for mine 2018 classic, the passenger side USB plug are always on. I'm not sure about 2019
Any outlet that's positioned under the radio, 12v or USB is connected straight to the battery.

It's important to unplug anything connected to it overnight so it doesn't drain your battery!
