Driving home the other day I saw an all blacked out 4th gen with the express front bumper and quad head lights driving. He had his fogs on and had the white leds in both fogs and quads and against the black it just looked so bad ass.
My truck has the projectors and I've never thought that it looked that good. I'm seriously considering if I should consider "downgrading" the head lights at some point in the future because damn. However I would miss the running light feature.
I havent looked for aftermarket reflector style headlights for the 4th gen yet but now I'm going to. Everything I've ever looked at was projector style.

Anyways there isnt any real purpose to this post, sorry for the spam, just being a fan boy.

I also think that that the fourth generation RAM is an nice looking truck. I had more complements on my 2014 RAM Express than all of the others and current RAM 1500. Must have been the color ...

I still see my last Ram driving around town & think, that is a fine looking truck, then i see a couple of mods that i did to it & realize that it is my old truck.

That is the reason my current Ram was repainted with in a month of buying it, i would have never would have ordered my 2016 Ram, if i had known that the color was Burgundy, no one had ever seen Delmonico Red & every one thought that it would be RED

I get good comments for my 7 year old Ram

Delmonico red pearl is the best color in the sunlight or at night when you have that particular light. Its not Burgundy its Delmonico red pearl

I think the designers hit a home run with the 4th gen. It's so good, they still make it, the Classic.

You know a 4th gen from a mile away, no mistaking it. Different from everything else. Unique.

IMO, the 5th gens are starting to lose that uniqueness, which is kind of sad to me. But maybe, I'm just biased.

Would still take a Ram over the competition. Would love to be able to get a TRX, have to win the lottery first......lol.

Agreed!
I could have gone with a first itteration-5th Gen when I got mine at the end of June 19'.
While I'm a true vehicle enthusiast and appreciate all vehicles, I'm MOPAR hands down.
But, the 5th gens lost me because, to me anyways, they took cues from the others in the truck segment and went too Euro/Mainstream and made it look too homogenized.
The 4th Gen's just has a unique look and feel to them that's all theirs!
No other truck holds this style and presence, IMHO!

Absolutely.

Now, I've heard that the interior on the 5th gen is improved, so maybe that could be a thing, gen 4 exterior, gen 5 interior?

I will keep my gen 4 til the wheels fall off.

If I could have my 4th Gen with the 5th Gen interior (and my upgraded audio system...lol), I'd pay for that all day!

As it stands, the same applies for me too; keeping her till the wheels fall off... I want 10 to 12 years and 500,000Km's or more!

The way I look after her, it shouldn't be an issue.

Personally, that Blue is on several nice rides, like some nice Mustang Fast Backs

I think with someone with a bit of a flair when it comes to colors, a TINT/Wrap Shop could make a great design using some Blacks or another color like Orange, that would really stand out

When I got mine in late 19' there weren't many of my "blues" on the road.
Now, it's a more common colour, as is the same with the other manufactures too.
Everyone has a variant of the Hydro Pearl Blue...
