New to asking for help, but I need help, I recently hit a eagle on my way to Vegas and he did a good number on the a/c condenser, ags, and grille. I'm going to buy a new a/c condenser soon, but I need to know how much ATF it holds so I can add it to the transmission after I install it.

just pre-fill the new trans cooler, should be close enough provided you don't spill much out of the lines while swapping the condenser

The a/c condenser doubles as a transmission cooler and has 4 lines going into it, which is why I'm asking. Im obviously not going to put atf where the refrigerant goes

I didn't put any atf in mine. I just topped it off after the changeover, warmed up, idling in neutral on level ground.

With the 8 spd transmission, be sure to use the correct fluid. Standard ATF fluid will cause issues with the transmission.

Zf recommends filter and fluid change at 60,000 miles. Do not follow rams lifetime if your gonna keep it.

It only has 36k on it so no need for a fluid change atm. Just want to add what im going to lose with the condenser replacement.

Measure the amount that drains out when replacing the cooler and put that much back in the trans. probably not much more than a pint and a half total
