Good morning, I recently had the cam and lifters swapped in my 2013 Ram 1500. After getting the truck back from the shop it lasted about 50 miles before having a severe misfire. Pulled the code P1414 so I pulled and replaced all 4 deactivation solenoids. Truck ran fine while in tow haul but immediately gave me an engine light when I turned the t/h off. Pulled codes again and have the p1414 and p1411. Mechanic that did the work won't help and I'm no Mechanic so hopefully someone has some input. Thanks

Definitely a possibility, i got ripped off by the mechanic that did the work. Could tell after I got it back they didn't do good work. I've decided to tune and disable mds all together

Was this a legitimate shop that did the work? Very crappy thing to not stand behind their work, especially since having problems so quickly after repair.

If so, I would use the power of social media to warn others not to use them.

Praying that it is a relatively simple fix for you.

Were you going for the mds delete or just a direct swap?
