Thought I'd ask here (seemed the most appropriate category)...

I will be powder-coating my factory aluminum wheels soon...

1. Does anyone know if these lugs would work on my 2017 RAM 2500 factory aluminum wheels?

Here are my factory wheels:

2. Has anyone painted their factory "chrome" center-caps matte black with good results??? How'd you go about it?

I'm starting to put together everything I'd need in order to complete the look I'm going for! Thx in advance!

I've painted center caps before on previous vehicles. I used the duplicolor perfect match spray paint from any parts store. You could do a light scuff and a plastic primer, but it's probably unnecessary.

Yeah, it's looking like just buying black center-caps is going to cost me ~$150  (Link to center-caps on Amazon)

Sooooooo -- I'm going to see if I can possibly have someone sand-blast them for me then paint them -- lol

I scuffed mine with a brillo pad & wiped with alcohol. Did 4 coats of plasti-dip paint & 3 coats of satin black.
