Hyper Flash

Hi...I have a 2022 Classic..I was able to "led" all exterior lights..except the front turn signals...i alfaobd'd the fronts as DRL..I installed some Led 3157na and get hyper flash..the alfa is set too Front Turn Signal 'yes'..I do have trailer mirrors with led lights..I put oem back in..set it back too 'no' for led..no hyper...is it because of trailer mirror lights.. it works fine with the OEM bulbs..

Is there a reason you enabled them as DRL? Just wondering why you don't just flip your switch to parking lights... :think:

I'm just wondering if you enabled them as DRL and forgot to set the front turn signals to LED as well?
-OR-
If you DID set them to DRL and set them as LED as well and are still getting the hyper flashing -- maybe one is overwriting the other... possibly?

I would try to set the front signals to LED and then using your headlight switch - turn your parking lights on and see if you still get the flashing... my guess is that you would NOT.

Did you get the bulbs for a 2022 or 2022 classic? The newer trucks non classic use a CK socket.. make sure your bulbs are NON Ck socket.

I set them to drl..moving them from highs..in Canada eh the use highs as drl..i wanted the look of projector style orange drls...

Would the mirror lights conflict...had same setup in my 19 classic..just regular mirrors and worked then...once i a blue moon got a front signal out error

My understanding is that certain trucks (19 & up) were wired for incandescent bulbs or LED but were not programmed for the LED swap. This gives you the error on the FRONT turn signal no matter what you do. I have the same issue and was talking to a friend at work, who has a 2019 REBEL, and he was having the same problem. He took it to the dealer, and they did a recall flash on it, and it solved the problem. I put the regular increscent bulbs back in and the error stopped.

CK socket vs standard nothing to do with leds

You saying no matter what you do, can't get leds to work in 2019 and above with halogens, Classics or 5th gens. Or both?

There are 2 settings for LED on the front and 3 on the rear. Front turn and front marker/parking lamp. If you don't set both, you will still get errors and/or hyper-flashing.
