1 gallon of RL 5w-30 on Amazon is $65.62. Can get it for $53.60 on bimmerworld, problem is you have to buy 3 gallons. I guess I can store the excess for next year. Anyone have any other reliable sources to check for RL?
I just checked Bimmerworld and the price is $65.62 a gallon. You getting a discount we’re not aware of?

Is Bimmerworld legit? Has anyone here ordered from them?

I see a lot of convincing things here for Redline, but I just can't switch from Mobil1 now. My 5.7 in my hemi Charger Pursuit is so quiet no matter what. I've even had it parked for a month, and when I started it up, quiet as could be. 90k miles and lots of idle time and engine hours. If it ain't broke.....

Not sure what 'pimping' oil means when there's member data and 4,694 pages of experience, but based on UOA testing of TBN additive depletion measurements, I go with 5,000 mile OCI.

Ram Forum isn't a BITOG popularity contest.
I'd give you 2 thumbs up for your comment, but they only allow the one!

Considering that you are in Florida, I'm guessing that the climate is vaguely similar to what we have here in Dubai, so what is the weight you're using? Also, do you use any additives like Lubegard?

I see a message on the Bimmerworld site that says 10% off if bought today. 12 quarts for $160.81.
12 quarts = 3 gallons so $160.81/3 = $53.60/gallon.
I've never ordered from Bimmerworld, so maybe that's why I'm seeing 10% off?

I use the manufacturer's recommendation for this engine, 5W-20 and I don't add anything else. I am very consistent with the changes at 5000 miles and I limit idle time to practically nothing.

That's more like it @ $13.40 per quart.

Beware of that place! Just last week I finally got my money back from my order, thanks to Capital One! I had ordered 2 gallons of Redline 5w30 for $48.04 each, and a bottle of Redline S-1...$99 gets free shipping. Seemed like a really good deal...NOT! They said that I would have my order in 2-7 business days...didn't happen! After a week I questioned it, they said that my order would ship out on Friday...didn't happen! Contacted them the following week, no response! Waited another week with no response, called Capital One and got an immediate refund. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! They received an "F" from the BBB! Check out the reviews on this place!

I had identical experience. Elite Race Fab is not on my list of "approved vendors".

The few times I ordered RL from Amazon (looks like 4 years ago), it was less than 10.00/quart.

Times they are a-changing!

I see that, but >$16 per quart is still high in today's marketplace. It can be had for $13.40 per quart in a number of places if you google.

redline pricing is stupid, imo takes them out of the general preventative maintenance market. Still a great choice for hemi tick and those high performance engines being high revving engines or harley's, but I would not spend that ridiculous money if I didnt have to. But I simply refuse to go back to hemi tick, even to test, no guarantee if you give yourself tick just for a little while that it isnt causing damage. call me crazy, unless something changes on it's own I wont be changing it.

Just admit you want a Ford Lightning F150 EV.

Redline must of read this thread to see they can get away with price gouging.

Oh no, read again, lol. I'm sure they have lost a lot of business with this crisis no doubt. And I have my good eye on craigslist looking for an older bronco so I can ditch the ram, no more drama. For my needs the bronco serves me better, no not the new ones. Not in a hurry to do it, but I like the idea. If they had the older full sized bronco's for sale in 2010 safe to say I wouldnt have ever bought this ram. My trailer can handle anything I would have needed a truck bed for.
