What areas of WI do you camp in? We're new to the state and brought the camper so we're looking for areas to visit for weekend trips starting spring.
What area of Wisconsin? They have a ton of nice parks and being from illinois I have visited a few. Devils lake is nice but books way in advance. Kettle Moraine has a ton of nice campgrounds.

SE, we've heard everyone tries to go to Devil's Lake so that tracks with booking in advance. We've started marking spots on a campground app and will check out the Kettle one.

I have a 2 week trip booked for the 1000 islands in NY. I have a large and beautiful waterfront site overlooking the St. Lawrence river. This year is going to be even more exciting because we upgraded our boat. Went from a 17ft to a 20ft with a ski tower. We also have our own property in the finger lakes region we stay at too.

Mid April we plan to head from mid Tennessee to Maine going up along the coast (delmar peninsula) and then come back inland. But may have to change plans. Campgrounds along the shore are already reserved and nothing (descent) available.

Leave Tennessee, in april?
Not a Crappie fisherman, are ya?

That's on my To DO List
Camp, all around Tennessee, during the Crappie Spawn.
Have done Oklahoma, Arkansas & Missouri but got Tennessee, Mississippi & East Texas yet to do.

We have 6, Local Outings, Reserved, so far.
Camp for 2 weeks, then it's Home/Camp, every other week,
until middle of July, when Friends come for a visit, from Germany.
Then, it's whatever they want to do, for 2 weeks they are here.

August is what we are planning, right now.

I'm leaning towards a road trip, Walleye fishing, type of camp but will see.
Told the Boss, we need to get our reservations, now, and can always cancel , if things do not work out, like we hoped.

Bet if I planned a road trip Camp ,with tons of Quilting Retreats or Fabric shopping, she'd be all over it.

For us this year in April we will be in TN at Anchor Down. Never been to this campground but my wife said we should so the reservations were made. Usually we stay right in Pigeon Forge so I'm looking forward to be more away from it all. Anyone that's been, knows what I mean.

Yeah, we've been to Maggie Valley, NC a few times. Made a couple trips up to Pigeon Forge, looked like a tourist trap to me

I am in Northern NJ and the campground I go to all the time is open all year. I am think about making this weekend a 4 day and take the wife camping to get away from the house and kids. I usually start camping in march and go to Nov but with the warm weather this year I think we can get away early this year.

My wife and I are excited to start the RV season too. First trip is Pocahontas State Park near Richmond, Va early April, then Myrtle Beach 10 days in May and few days in Sept, then few days in Oct at new campground near Pigeon Forge. Hoping for few weekends in local VA state parks. We stopped going to Camp Hatteras on OBX, got too expensive--$135 per night and up, seeing some parks at 250 believe it or not. The wife will be okay with state parks as long as the DVD player works, or we end up getting the Dish Anywhere!. Will be uncovering RV next month, dewinterizing, etc. CAN'T WAIT!!!

First, a brake controller.
If you're interested in an aftermarket controller I have a Tekonsha P3 for sale with bracket and harness.

Might want to try converting all your favorite movies and tv shows into MP4 fiel types. then copying them over to a stand alone USB hard Drive.

Easy method is plug USB Hard Drive into your tv set.
Best Method is pick up a cheap little router, plug hard drive into router .
Then you have your own Camper Network.
Anyone hooked up to teh campers network, can stream anything they want, over any device.

Free Program will convert darn near anything into mp4 drives.
All your dvd's can be done. Just got done, backing up all of mine.
Much easier taking one hard drive, rather than 900 DVD's collected over last 20 years or so.

Worst thing about the best campgrounds, streaming is usually extremely poor.

If interested:
Handbrake
DVDshrink
DVDFab
Don;t think i used anything else.
Not that I remember, anyway.
Maybe 7 or 8 I could not back up.
mostly due to abused surfaces.
Which really sucks. Ones that got played, the most, were too far gone for my PC.
DVD Player, in Entertainment Room, reads them just fine, but not my PC.

Tv when camping say it is not so lol my buddy and his wife are planning to go to the Yukon me and the missus might tag along in the pw might not end well when she sees their giant rolling house lol she might want one to. It’s hard to turn a trailer around on a mountain trail. I definitely want to do jasper again to get some pictures of my ram with some rams. Got a 12 volt fridge last year and love it our camping season is so short end of may to first weekend in September So I like to keep the driving down as much as I can but we rarely camp in an actual camp grounds if we can avoid it

The giant rolling house extends camping season though so not all bad. Good to have options.

I forgot my daughter and I plan to do a canoe camping trip near Eminence Missouri in late spring too. That should be fun.
