Hi, All.
Hoping the Crew can help with some understanding as to why the following is happening, please.
So, I've had my truck since new (end of June 2019), and in that time the Engine Hours display has randomly changed all by itself for no apparent reason on three separate occasions.
The most recent change was a few days ago where I went down to 5 hours of drive time, and 438 hours of idle time.
The last time I looked here a few weeks back I was at half the idle time, and just shy of 1,100 hours of drive time.
The times it changed beforehand were also random, and really mixed drive and idle times.
I am not one to idle much at all, I have no need to. I'm either driving, or the engine is shut off, period.
I asked two different dealerships and both service advisors looked at me like I had a third eye.
I've never had an electrical glitch that I'm aware of, all my fuses are tightly in their holders in the fuse box, and my vehicle drives smooth an trouble free at all times.
But this is some random thing that has happened three times over three and a half years of ownership.
Any assistance on what this could be, and if it could be a detriment to my truck in any way is appreciated.
