Talk about causing me issues the last day and half. I stuck my old T1000 on our 300C a year ago ,and all i'm using it for is to up the idle rpm and the speed limiter, and for the last year it's been doing that with no issues. But this last week i had the battery disconnected a couple times while i swapped the 6.4 manifolds and mid pipes off my wifes 1320 onto it,and when i was done and it was back drivable, all of sudden it was turning on the Forward Collision Warning light, which put the car into limp mode,so i'm wondering what in hell i'd done when i'd did the manifold swap,i thought maybe i'd pinched a wire or something when i had the engine lifted off the motor mounts,so i spent last night chasing wiring down, looking for a buggered wire somewhere, but nothing was pinched or showing any signs of being distrubed, but it was still turning on the FCW warning lamp this afternoon, which got me wondering if it was something else,as it wasn't turning on any codes that my cheap code readers were picking up,or the diablo itself. So on a whim it made me start to wonder about the diablo,it took 3 trys before it finally restored the stock tune, which struck me a bit odd,as i'd restored the stock tune once before, and never had any issues, but finally after disconnecting the battery and letting it sit for a 1/2 hour,it finally restored the stock tune, and low and behold everything is working fine again,no forward collision warning light, and the car is back to running like normal.I never would have guessed the diablo would screw up the forward warning, but it appears like it did. So if you guys running a diablo ever run into a real oddball situation with no real explanation on why,for ****'s and giggles try restoring your stock tune, before you start thinking some sensor that's worth over a $1,000 Canuck has went south.Just my tidbit for today. My wife was about ready to choke me if i'd screwed up the summer cruising car,lol

Maybe the electrons just got tired of going back & forth?
Something definitely got tired that's for sure, lol. I've never really been a Diablo fan,but i had it laying around,so instead of trying to sell it,i decided to use it to up the idle rpm and speed limiter,i never even used it to put a Diablo tune in the car,i just used it to set the idle and speed parameters, but it definitely caused me some headaches the last day or so,as initially it made me question my work, and that doesn't happen all that often, lol

Yeah, I would have gone with HP Tuner if I'd known better years back.

So far, Diablo Edge Pulsar is doing most of what I wanted.
I had this one laying around from my old 2013,a couple years before HP started supporting Chysler products, otherwise i'd never have had it. But now i'm a bit leary of using it again, lol

Was seriously considering getting the diablo tuner to just up the idle rpm but now am having second thoughts lol. That is weird no doubt it turning on the Forward Collision Warning light.

I have a Diablo I3 that I put custom tunes that I received from Jay Green and Matt at Demon and have had pretty good luck, mainly just data logging for them and then installing the revised tune. Fortunately no issues, but have read about many issues with Diablo.
I have thought in the future trying the HP Tuner never really hear or see issues with them.

Yea Diablo has a bit of a crappy rep these days, there's been quite a few guys who've had Diablo brick their PCM's on both the cars and trucks. It's definitely got me a bit gunshy about using it again

Rick you need to read the bad review for the Diablo I3 on Amazon. I was actually reading the other day the reviews for it and his actually made me not get it. He actually mentioned changing the speed limiter then started running funky. so I wonder if that is the common factor here with these things. he also mentioned he could not put back the stock tune. read the review from F150Junkie.

His review is a bit differant,in one respect he seems to like it,but in another respect he's claiming it's making his truck run "funky" and he can't restore the stock tune.So i'm not sure what to make of his review, lol
He initially liked it. Then edited his review when he realized it causes problems. I’ve done that in Amazon reviews something good at first then breaks say a month down the road I’ll edit the review. Is what he did

So he’s saying was good at first then caused issue.

I will keep my fingers crossed…I got mine just as a vehicle to carry a Hemifever tune.
No issues.
I was one of the unfortunate losers with an Edge Pulsar though. I tried one years ago that poo’d the bed.

Mine's still going on 3 years, knock on wood.
