Got my new blubs in today. Probably put them in tomorrow. I know it's an easy job, but didn't feel like it today.

Hope they work out. Will post back, hopefully with pictures.
Post pics when done please

I got SeaLight from Amazon. The box and packaging is very good, and they included a nice installation/spec pamplet, and a package of larger o-rings in case the ones on the lights fit loose.

They are 3000K, so should be a good color.

Verify the clocking on the sealight. I've used them in the headlights and found a couple that were clocked incorrectly. The burners should be at 9 and 3 position when installed.

The ones that had incorrect clocking required drilling a second hole in the clocking collar.

Nice. I have the Sealight lowbeam LED's for my Ram. No issues going on 9 months now. Also had the low beams for my GMC for a good year before that truck got totaled.

OK. Here is before and after. This is stopped, facing uphill, same exact place, camera against windshield up at the rear view mirror. The road drops off a little at the end, so that is somewhat not showing the full distance the light is throwing because of shadows.

First is the factory clear haolgens. Next is the SeaLight amber LEDs. Both pictures were with only the fog lights and the park lights on.

I have SeaLights for Highs/Lows and fogs. All are white but the switchbacks look interesting. I might have to pick up a set of fogs, and SeaLight does make a set.

I also had Per-Lux, and at the time I think they were the best adverse weather light out there. I had them on my 73 Power Wagon, and then put them on my 1985 W150. Technology sure has changed over the years with LED, and HID lights.

Bottom line, yellow works great in fog, doesn't reflect back to you. Been true since I started driving in 1977. Note, I've used bright 4ways in thick fog and seen better than headlights. Good upgrade for fog or Heavy snowfall. Otherwise, don't know why anyone would use yellow over white in regular weather.

At times i would have to drive in a valley a small distance from the Pacific Ocean, Interstate 5, the fog could get heavy.
I noticed most of the foreign sports cars could see well enough to pass all of the US vehicles in that fog.

I looked through some catalogs & a company named Trail-Gear used to carry short light bars & short orange lenses (3) for the short light bar

It made enough of a difference, that i became the lead vehicle of the U.S. vehicles.
I also turned my cargo light ON, because i noticed i could judge my distance from other pickups in the fog, when they had the cargo lights on

I put in the Diode Dynamics SS6 six-inch driving Led Light Bars. They are listed as DOT/SAE by Diode Dynamics. At American Truck the part number is R110925 (SS6 by Diode Dynamics) There are a bunch of videos on line about them so you can not only see them after the install, but how to install.

Has anyone installed yellow/amber LED fog light bulbs instead of white? I did LEDs in the high and low beams, and love them.

It's usually dark, or just before daylight when I go to work. There are a lot of deer where I live, and I have to drive through three long dips where it's usually foggy.

I'm wondering if the yellow will cut through the fog better like I have read.

Thanks for any insight.
