Anyone ever heard of Kumho Tire.
Standard OEM for Hyundai and Kia. Got 60K on my wife's Sonata and we put another set on. Great wear, good in the rain, cheap to replace.
I would never use them on a motorcycle. When you only have two wheels, inexpensive is not a criteria.

Congrats! You’ll always have a hater or two. Just like other countries China has good and not so good manufacturing. I have Venom Power tires on my Ram. They are made in China but like the tires you purchased, they are a very good tire. I hope you get good service out of your bargain treads!
How long have you had the Venom tires? Wondering how they hold up mileage wise and highway driving.

I have had them almost two years and have put just shy of 30k miles on them. They are LT275/65R20. I rotate them every 10k miles and the truck is aligned regularly. I attached a few pics to show the wear pattern. They are worn about halfway to the wear indicators. I used the chalk method to determine how much air to put in them. I’ve run 42psi since I purchased them. They are listed as 50k mile treadwear tires and it appears I’m getting slightly better than expected. They are load E tires so they are pretty rugged but heavy. I’ve run them mostly on pavement around town and highway driving. They are very good in wet weather and I’ve never felt like I was going to lose control during rainstorms. As for snow, I can’t give a good evaluation as I live in a very temperate climate and they only saw two inches of snow once. Lol
Highway driving they are compliant and track true. No pulling or drifting. They have a smooth ride for an aggressive tread but they aren’t quiet. I’m kind of picky with tires being quiet and while I’m not disappointed by their noise level as I know they are an aggressive tread, they do have a low rumble/roar. Nothing obnoxious but it’s noticeable. It hasn’t got worse after 30k miles but it’s always been there. I have had them off road many times on poor gravel and dirt roads, rutted and washed out. While I’m not an “off roader” I’m impressed with the sure footedness of these tires. No issues whatsoever but I’ve never been in mud with them if that matters. I purchased them from Walmart and even Wally World had no problems balancing them. None of the tires are loaded with weights. No problem with alignments and no vibrations or wobbles at any speeds. Depending on their price now I would purchase them again and recommend them.

Nice info! Thank you for that and the pics as well. Very helpful.

Not many sipes on the tread blocks, which you typically want/need in a decent snow tire. And the tread blocks are kind of widely spaced. But the tread blocks do run at different orientations which is a plus. Probably a really good off-road tire (dirt/rocks/mud), and wear like iron ..like you say. For your location/needs probably a great tire for you.

Where are the raised white letters?? ;)
