I been reading way too many of these threads about the tick. I actually had a dream last night that I popped my hood to listen to the engine and it was ticking real bad (but only on the driver's side)- It was so distressing that it actually woke me up! Am I glad it was only a dream...I hope...
The Hemi struggle is real. Some day our descendants will ask for reparations.

I'm here in Southern Ontario about 70Km west of Toronto and this has been an abysmal winter. We've hardly had a winter, at least in this regional zone anyways.

My snow tires and 4x4 are crying to play in some powder and slush...lol

Come on over across the big pond.

We got all you want here in the Siberia of the Americas. Cold and wind as a bonus.

right on

did you get the redline yet? Mine was due today and shipped at 25 pounds, but says there was a delay from weather. And did you get an offer to buy the 5w40 from seller, my guess the dude will take 99 bucks per case on 5w40's he is selling.

I'm pretty sure the saying is who dies with the most oil filters wins, and I have all you all covered.
Ups guy made it up the drive (barely) and delivered the goods from eBay. It's a Redline box that appears to be factory sealed, but too cold to check it out and do a taste test yet...

Thoughts on how this sounds?
It's only gonna get worse, and to be honest this was the only outcome that would make sense with what we know at ram forum. It was those strong vii's that helped keep it a little quiet for the few miles it was quiet, now the moly is impressive but it is the least moly you have had in it for a long time. Do you have some lubegard? Your truck always needed good visc and moly.

I do not have any LG unfortunately. Even if I did I would most likely still just change back to RL, once its ticking don't like to play around with it....

I'll post some more videos as I get miles on the RL.

Maybe a good opportunity to put High Performance Lubricants to the test?

So question, if you mix 5w20 redline and 5w40 redline equal shares, what weight oil would you have? I would make an argument, something closer to 0w30 redline. We know 5w20 has no vii's per dave, we know 5w30 shears very little, and we know because of the swing 5w40 redline has plenty vii's. So would this mix likely shear more then 5w30? If so, wouldnt that mean it would be more like 0w30 then 5w30 if it indeed shear more?
