Got a dash cam as a present from the Wife, and set it up inside the cab. The rear camera has a fairly long cable and has a wire to connect to the +wire for the reverse lights.

Problem is the wire for the rear camera is not long enough to reach the rear license plate area, so I mounted it so that it is at the top center of the rear window.

I routed the wiring around the edge of the headliner and I would like to run a wire from the reverse light + into the cab.

Can anyone give me the best place to enter the cab with the wire. Just not sure where the wiring enters the cab.

Thanks in advance.

I believe all wiring comes in the front firewall. In my crew cab there are body plugs that are under the rest seat area of I remember right. You could push wiring through there and silicone it.

Clutch block off plate, here's the version I run (you can totally make a version of this for way cheaper, but I loved the bolt in aspect)

Thanks.

Was hoping that there's something near the rear of my quad cab. I will have to get under it and take a closer look.

Since I mounted the rear camera inside the cab and routed the cam wires around the edge of the headliner along the drivers side, I was hoping I didnt have to go all the way to the firewall and then back to the rear corner of the cab.

But, it is what it is, and I will have to route through whats already there. No biggie, just time. Thank you all very much.

Do you have the cubby's under the floor mats in the rear floor? They stick down outside of the cab, I just put a water proof grommet in a hole I made and ran wires through it into the cab.
