Took my truck on it's first "long" drive (2 hours one way) since putting the cam and everything in. Everything went fine all the way there. Only hiccup I noticed was one of my tail pipes was loose from messing with my exhaust. Nothing alarming. Drove back home and got about 15 minutes from home and got "Service Air Suspension System" and "Service Electronic Braking System" messages on the dash and lost cruise control. I didn't look into it too much yet but a quick search of the forum shows it's probably a loose connection. I'm guessing maybe I didn't have enough room from installing my headers and maybe melted the wires. I'll dig into it tomorrow and see what I find.

Added a Stinger magnetic pistol mount to the right of my driving foot at about shin level. Perfect spot where the center dash comes down to the floor. It put the angle just within hands reach and my leg blocks the view if I'm sitting in the truck.

Spent a few days beating the truck Testing out Thuren’s new rear 2014+ Predator link system. This kit is legit. Trucks 1000X better. Up next front 2 tube bypass 3.0 and my rear 3.0 3tube bypasses are at shop being built now. About to be a real ripper in both rocks and dirt! Ignore the leaking shocks. We were testing a new brand out to see how they hold up. They did not lololololol.

It’s unfortunate/ interesting that those carbon shocks didn’t hold up. Guess I dodged a bullet when I messaged them asking if they make products for the 1500 and they said no. Too bad- they looked promising

New front grill inserts (swapped from Sport chrome to the black crosshairs) courtesy of @ThunderMug95 and black emblem courtesy of a cheap eBay knockoff copy.

New rear gear oil, wasn't sure what the shop used for the TrueTrac install, and it's been 600ish miles. Replaced with Red Line 75-140NS. Locks up great in my test drive.

Swapped over from the Fox rock guards to Thuren shock boots, better protection from the salt I figure.

Looks good! I had my step bars off for a while. But my 6 and 7 year old pretty much need them. They could "climb" into the truck without them but most times I had to help them. It got old fast so I put the steps back on. I want to eventually find a slim black set to make them not stand out so much.

I’ve been meaning to do it for a while now, it’s just one of those things that’s easy enough to do any time but just enough effort to not Be worth doing right away

I know that all too well. Probably why it took me like 6 months to put my steps back on. Same for why I've got 1 mud flap left on my truck after breaking 2 of them. The only "good" one I removed was when I did my cam swap. Had to remove the flap to get the fender liner out.
