2023 2500 Bed Protection

I'm sure that this discussion has been thrashed around a bunch. But would appreciate an opinion, here. Torn between a drop in bedliner or a spray in. I do the gravel thing every once and a while and I hear that his can raise a ruckus with the spray in. Thanks a bunch

Drop in liners tend to move around and scratch the bed. A piece of gravel that slips in between the liner and the bed will raise havoc with the paint, eventually removing all the coating and creating a rust spot.

A spray in liner is much better for wear, it won't warp, things can't get between it and the bed and as far as raising a ruckus when hauling gravel I'm not sure what you've heard but I've never had a problem with a good spray in liner.

At the end of the day a spray in liner is a much better option, IMHO.

Spray in liner is the way to go ! Rhino Liner or Line X is the best ones they have unbeatable warranty !

I’ve had 5 trucks with spray in liners, including my ‘21 2500 that came with
MOPAR spray in. I’ve never had a chip, ding or problem in any of them and that was with gravel, pitchforks removing mulch, hauling lumber, etc.

Spary in liner try and find a place that has a lifetime warranty. Mine if it gets messed up in anyway they will fix it for free

I had my spray in liner done at the time of purchase by a local vendor the dealer uses. Lifetime warranty, any scratches or dings. Ram does not offer lifetime warranty on their spray in liners that I know of. Do not recommend drop in's, ever.

I'm a fan of a bed mat. I've had one in my Rams since 2002. The one in my Ram now has been in use since 2007 and is as good as new. It has hauled everything with no issues.

Spray in- just be ready to replace the knees of your jeans and the toes of your boots if you do a lot of crawling around in there...
