Nice ride! Hope this one doesnt have the same engine issue your other Gen6 did. Do you still have the dodge challenger too?

Sold challenger for a Wrangler to do some 4 wheeling.

Different motor. This motor is hand built at the corvette plant in Kentucky

FF, That is bad-ass. My son had a Krpton Green(?) ZL-1 a few years ago. Unfortunately he sold it to build his new house.

Enjoy your new ride FF. I had a 5th gen Camaro SS for all of 6 months. Couldn't stand it after a very short time. Extremely poor visibility was my biggest complaint, but it was pretty fast. Also turned a lot of heads at the time because they had just come out with them (2010).

Definitely takes the sting out of losing the truck!

Congrats on the new ride. Hopefully the tires last more than 10K miles on the back.

No longer RVing at the moment so the truck was kind of wasted. Went and bought this; 2023 Camaro ZL1 Vert Manual

You got what I want, but pretty hard to get hoss feed, hay, heck even (2) bags of groceries with that play toy. But sure is purty. Does it have the 6.2L with the 6 speed? One of my friends has a 2021 with the LT1, 6.2, 6 speed in his garage.

LS3 equipped Camaro SS is my second car. I kicked around a ZL1 a time or two, or doing an LSA conversion on mine, but ultimately have just left it be. It's a lot of fun to drive and, as long as you know how to properly set the mirrors, the visibility issue isn't as bad as some make it out to be.

Haha...I can assure you I'm perfectly qualified to set mirrors. The 2010 I had was horrific. The car had no backup camera, and there was no visibility behind the b-pillars. Mirror coverage was small for side mirrors, and the rearview camera view was bad because of the nearly horizontal rear window. Lots of blind spots. I got used to parking so I wouldn't have to back up other than in my garage. Surround view or even a back up cam would have helped tremendously.

Speaking of selling trucks…is there a place on here to do that? Selling the ‘21 2500 and giving up full time Rv-ing.

I've got a 2011. I have no problems backing up and can use the mirrors fine. When I first bought the car I had the same issue as you because I set the mirrors like I would a "normal" car. That doesn't cut it with the Camaros. To eliminate the blind spots:

1) Put your head nearly touching the driver's side window.
2) Adjust your driver's side mirror out until *just past* where you can see the flank of your own car.
3) Put your head over the center console, as near to the middle of the car as you can.
4) Adjust the passenger's side mirror out until *just past* where you can see the flank of your own car.

If you adjust the mirrors while seated normally, you'll have massive blind spots. Doing it like this means when you're in your normal position there is zero blind spot. Any object is in at least one of your mirrors or in your peripheral view. I know guys automatically know everything and nobody would admit they didn't know how to set mirrors...but I have zero visibility concerns with the mirrors set as above.

Ok I hate to hash this out on a RAM forum, but

6th GEN, digital rearview mirror. No blind spots.
