Took Thumper in for an oil change and ended up leaving it for a hung caliper and front brake work. Oh and ordered a refurbished 8.4 radio because mine delaminated far enough to be a problem. Fun.

Replaced both U Joints in one piece rear drive shaft (SKJ UN358A) this past weekend, rotated tires front to back - adjusted tire pressure. Vibration I was having mainly in my seat drastically reduced with new U Joints. A little still left from tire as what little vibration is left moved to the rear. Much nicer to drive now. Just received Bilstein dual steering stabilizer as my oem is worn out. Mounted driver side bracket but not shocks yet, until I swap the front diff cover.

Got this front diff cover:

also ordered weld in drain plug:

and drilled bottom hole with this:

Then welded in place and painted black so I don't have to keep taking cover on/off to change out diff oil. MAN is this Diff cover heavy thick steel!! Glad I only have to hold it up once to bolt it in. It also doesn't stick out much further than OEM, so steering linkage won't be rubbing.
Also got a Magnetic drain plug for it, this one. 3/4" NPT Industrial Gold Plug Magnetic Drain Plug Internal Head IP-06

Last thing to do this coming weekend is install the gearbox support bracket I got here:

And then hopefully balance the two rear tires successfully, or I'm looking at some new rear tires to get rid of the last little vibration in that back right tire - I hope.

All that to spend more time at the lake this year than last when I had the previous F-250 I sold to get this Ram 2500. And I try to take care of my stuff. At least that's what I keep telling myself!! :)

New plates, it’s a 2022 and named it remi (ram hemi) wanted it the other way around but apparently someone stole it a week or 2 before I placed my order finally. Or NYS wouldn’t allow it because it might resemble a fire arm lmao.

Gearbox support bracket installed! Nice!

Rear right tire would not balance, ended up being broken steel belt within tire causing the last of my vibrations. Looks like new rear tires are on the agenda, running on spare for now. They were Toyo Open Country ATII's, std 18" size.

Finally got around to fixing my folding mirrors. Both went out and I ordered the Gruven replacement kit. Overall it was an easy swap just had issues with the spring retaining clip. Both mirrors were cracked like the attached image . such a dumb design to use plastic Snapchat-50888000.jpg

Today I added LED High Beams and then activated my new Moose Mirrors and Factory Remote Start with AlfaOBD. I also switched my DRL to my running lights and disabled seatbelt alarm. (Disclaimer: I wear my seatbelt every time, but when I'm at the acreage on the fields I never wear it and its annoying AF)

I also picked up a used 3rd brake light to see if I can retrofit a small backup camera into it as a DIY cargo camera.

I installed my new front and rear Powerstop Z36 brakes and had the brake fluid flushed and refilled with Motul DOT 5.1 (2 liters in total for the flush and fill process). Then I went out and followed the bedding in process on the Powerstop website for these brakes. What an incredible improvement in my braking with these new ones vs the stock ones, even when they were new.

I got 3 years and 9 months (and 121,000Km's) out of my stock brakes, which I feel is pretty great. They never warped or had any issues throughout their life cycle. Although, I did perform annual brake servicing every late spring to early summer to ensure they got the best wear and lifespan possible.

It was this forum and its great members that pointed me towards these Powerstop brakes. Thanks, All!
