Oh yea, and my truck finally got the new modified steering shaft. No more rubbing on my headers. Now to wait for my new muffler to show up so I can tame the beast.

Did you have to replace the rear shocks too?Added 2" rear lowering coils from Prosuspension #272920.
They are pretty DARN nice!...
And treated it to long needed carwash.
Nope!Did you have to replace the rear shocks too?
Replaced both U Joints in one piece rear drive shaft (SKJ UN358A) this past weekend, rotated tires front to back - adjusted tire pressure. Vibration I was having mainly in my seat drastically reduced with new U Joints. A little still left from tire as what little vibration is left moved to the rear. Much nicer to drive now. Just received Bilstein dual steering stabilizer as my oem is worn out. Mounted driver side bracket but not shocks yet, until I swap the front diff cover.
Got this front diff cover:
Dodge AAM 9.25" Front Differential Cover (12 Bolt's)
Check out the deal on Dodge AAM 9.25" Front Differential Cover (12 Bolt's) at RuffStuff Specialtieswww.ruffstuffspecialties.com
also ordered weld in drain plug:

and drilled bottom hole with this:
Milwaukee 1-3/8 in. Hole Dozer Carbide Hole Saw 49-56-0712 - The Home Depot
The MILWAUKEE 1-3/8" HOLE DOZER with Carbide Teeth Hole Saw features a new 3 TPI design that offers users fast cuts with the durability of a bi-metal hole saw and life of a carbide hole saw. This Milwaukeewww.homedepot.com
Then welded in place and painted black so I don't have to keep taking cover on/off to change out diff oil. MAN is this Diff cover heavy thick steel!! Glad I only have to hold it up once to bolt it in. It also doesn't stick out much further than OEM, so steering linkage won't be rubbing.
Also got a Magnetic drain plug for it, this one. 3/4" NPT Industrial Gold Plug Magnetic Drain Plug Internal Head IP-06
IP06 3/4″ NPT Industrial GoldPlug Magnetic Drain Plug Internal Head
3/4″ Industrial NPT (National Pipe Thread) Magnetic Drain Plug. Pulls metal particles from your oil system. 3/4″ NPT actually measures 1.04″ in diameter. 9/16″ Internal Hex …goldplug.com
Last thing to do this coming weekend is install the gearbox support bracket I got here:
And then hopefully balance the two rear tires successfully, or I'm looking at some new rear tires to get rid of the last little vibration in that back right tire - I hope.
All that to spend more time at the lake this year than last when I had the previous F-250 I sold to get this Ram 2500. And I try to take care of my stuff. At least that's what I keep telling myself!!
