I pulled the belltech springs out yesterday and cut a coil off the top. Put back in and drove around a bit. Looks like it only dropped 1/2in instead of 1 full inch. Just wondering if this is common or does it just depend?? I’ve been reading everything and thought 1 coil was 1 inch.

This is how I would suggest you cut coils. His example is Chevy, but the principle is universal

IHC also said one turn is 3/4” ~ 1”.
I’d cut another half a turn off, let it settle.
See what happens.
Can always cut more off.

Thanks guys. I’ll probably get under there next weekend again and cut a half coil off each.
