Returned to the dark side (J/K)

Except for a foray into Nissan when 1st Gen Pathfinders were all the rage and looked badass, I've been either a FoMoCo or Mopar owner. Just traded my 2017 F-150 Platinum for my first Ram, a 2018 2500 Laramie 6.4L with 17K mi. Still has new truck smell inside .


Already outfitted with an aluminum bed cover (which I don't much care for, would prefer the BakFlip) I just replaced the stock tires which had 40% tread and some cracking in the tread with new Michelin LTX AT/2 LT275/70R18E. Waiting for deployable Aries ActionTrac running boards to replace the OEM as it is a pretty high step up. Also going with some BSM taillights that I am hoping will work for this as I miss that feature in this truck. Will try to get some pictures up of these mods as I go.

Looking forward to headlight and foglight upgrade in near future, and maybe a bed extender.

Welcome back And glad to hear you came to your senses. The Fords in my life except 5 liter mustangs were all piles of junk. Explorer, expedition, excursion, back to explorer, then never again.

Sure, I see on here Mopar is far from perfect but it’s not that last explorer. Hard to believe that rig is built on the F150 platform as it was such a mess. Trans and body panel issues - my lady was conned into buying it with all the extra warrantees. That was the one rig I was glad to have the because the warrantee programs were exercised often. It was a 2017 rig too so you wouldn’t think it would act like it did.
