Well, looks like I have lost faith in BFG KO2's Anybody ever seen this happen?

I have had many sets of K02s on my Cummins 1 ton and they have performed very well. I've had no problems with them. I think they are a great tire. I presume you've been running with proper inflation, and the above responses covered many other possibles, so I don't know what to tell you. I've always wondered where ebay sellers source their products.......

I ran KO2's on my RAM for a while, but they didn't treat me well. Road rough, loud and scary on wet roads. I thought my wheels bearings were going bad and spent a good bit of time checking that out until I rotated the tires and figured out they were the problem. I didn't have them for 2 years and still had over 1/2 tread left when I replaced them with Coopers.
I had similar issue with some Toyo Open Country A/T's recently. Went BFG KO2 route, much better now.

Cooper Rugged Trek's here, stock size on 20's. Nice and quite. 60,000 mile tires and currently 20,000 on them. I have Cooper's on my Mustang and Lincoln also. When our Civic needs tires, it will get Cooper also. I never had a problem with them.

I bought these tires online in January of 2022 and put them on a brand new truck. No road hazard warranty. At 18K miles today I noticed a crack in a sidewall, and after inspecting all of them, 3 of them are showing cracks in the sidewall. I don't think I have been curbing them, the rims are all untouched, but I suppose anything is possible. I am attaching pictures. Obviously I need new tires, and I don't think I am going to be putting these back on.

I would love to hear your thoughts on what might be going on, as well as what tires I should put on. I do use the truck in saltwater muddy condition (see last pic) while fishing, and I love the grip of these tires, I have been able to pull out of some sketchy launched and have never even needed 4wd.
Check out date codes. Remember you got them at a good price. So may have been sitting somewhere. If you buy a popular tire at a dealer they will not be old

Check your sidewalls to to if the word “BLEM” is branded on. It not, they are not considered blems.

I bought them in 1/22 the date code is 4421 so they were built a couple of months before I bought them. The ebay seller I bought from turns out is a pretty big online seller (https://www.tires-easy.com/) I am convinced now that the problem came from dismounting when swapping rims and one from me hitting a curb.

I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly or not, but isn't Goodyear, BFG, and Cooper tires all a part of Goodyear now? I remember reading some posts on here about cracks on the sidewalls from all these brands. Quite a few years ago, BFG had an issue with tires with Ford from the factory. The tires were loosing the cap is what I recall. Now with all these brands under one banner, it's possible they all use the same process when making the tires. I hate it about Cooper's; I have a set on my 2011 Sport, and they don't have any cracks, been on the truck for about 3-4 years and still look great.

I am no expert, but I thought BFG was Michelin?

I Buy locally from Discount for the truck. If you have an issue they cover it. They have a 30 day satisfaction warranty for any reason.

I have been running the BFG All terrain for over 30 years with no issues. What do you use for air pressure?

I usually run them around 40psi (these are E load rated), but I noticed when I took it to the dealer they lowered it to 32/35
