Because of the cost for UConnect updates that they deem the common customer can't perform and therefore have decided to let the stealerships line their greedy pockets ($200 per update), I have decided to divorce myself from UConnect and the local stealerships. RamCares was going to split the costs but I'm tired of giving to the leeches for something that should work.
Is anyone aware of an adapter to connect the USB and HDMI ports on an aftermarket head unit to the truck's jacks? I have a 2018 Laramie 2500 with the 8.4.
We don't use Apple Car play if that matters. Just desirous of a functioning radio to play my tunes via a thumb drive and Momma to use her cell phone via Android auto. The new radio is a Sony XAV-AX6000, if that matters.
