Curious to which everyone went with when buying reproduction wheels. I have Factory Reproductions on my Jeep and had no problems so far. Im wondering if there is just one maker of these wheels and the specs are all the same. And then companys put their name on them to sell. The prices seem to vary quite a bit from company to company. And their warranties look to be the same, lifetime structure and 1yr paint.

I had a set of replica hellcats. All I can say is inspect replicas finishes closely. Aside from hellcat replicas you can probably get oems on Craigslist or here for cheaper than the cost of replicas. What wheels did u have in mind

I went with the OE Wheels srt10 replicas. Just ordered tonight on amazon.
I checked for oem, thats what i wanted and then get them refinished. Letgo, offerup, craigslist.....nothing but flakes that dont want to reply or sell. I was tired of searching. Tires, tpms and black lugs are here so just ordered new reps.

Anyway, recieved my reps from OE Wheel. Not happy. Every wheel has dirt under the powdercoat and theres rub marks the whole diameter of each wheel from the fabric that covers the face and protector goes over that. Powdercoat seems to be very soft.....

As I mentioned above. Had a hellcat replica set and the finish was A major issue. No longer have them after having 3 replacements sent and each one still having an issue. Return them and save the trouble. Find a set of oem takeoffs

Were they OE Wheel replicas or Factory Reproduction replicas? Im pretty sure they get them from the same china maker but i think they use different finishers? Factory Reproduction says they are ISO inspected. I have wheels from FR for my jeep and they are fine. I dont know, ill try FR then if that dont work ill just wait it out i guess for oem.

Ive been looking for OEM take offs, not any luck. Hence the replica purchase.

I believe they were oe wheel reps man but I am not 100% sure. Let me know how those factory reproduction replicas work out. If they come out good, I might try another set of hellcats

Sounds good. I was just speaking to a rep for factory reproductions and he told me he would inspect the wheels before they ship out. Plus they have a 2 yr warranty on finish and lifetime structural compared to the 1yr finish for the oe wheel ones.

I bought 2 factory replica wheels for my RT that were 22 x 9. Look like factory 22s except they are polished vs what I consider to be factory chrome. Balanced perfectly no issues but you can tell the difference between the OEM and repos.

I have thought about dismounting one of the tires and run repos on one side and OEM on the other but it's not a priority right now.

They clear on the repos is a bit more yellow than OEM.
