You heard that right! This is not your typical 4 door short bed soccer mom good for 2 bags of fertilizer truck! If you have a nagging wife, this ain't for you.

2018 RAM 1500 Single Cab Long bed V8, AWD with lockable diff, power group, chrome package and rubber flooring. Carpet is for city bois.

In like new condition with only some 13k miles on it, always garage kept, never saw snow / salt. Zero issues, ever.

This was supposed to be my "farm" truck but plans have changed and I won't need it after all.

This thing is fast too, since it doesn't have to lug around your 4 overweight kiddos. Unless they like to ride in the bed, but that's not a thing in today's world where everybody lives in an online and gaming world.

28k

Are you man enough?

So you’re getting rid of the truck? Did you buy another one or just decide you didn’t need one anymore?

It's a longer story.

I wanted to buy some 10 to 20 acres, build a warehouse style home with the biggest part being a shop, all solar roof, lithium battery bank, water well, off grid, organic garden, you get the idea. For this I wanted an old style long bed single cab truck, in order to move things around.

Reality is, I'm not the youngest guy anymore, and a recently torn tendon in my foot turned into a 7 month healing process that also left me with a weak knee. It only takes one wrong step at age and you won't be able to run a mini farm for a long time.

So from now on I'll watch my steps and avoid any risks that will limit my basic mobility. Not being able to walk (without crutches) for over half a year gets old, FAST!

I love this truck and hate seeing long bed single cabs dying out. This was always part of America, at least in my book. That being said, it just sits in my garage, unless I buy new cars and trailer them home.

I used to buy and own 2500 GMC Sierra Denali diesel trucks but this long bed is the real deal.

I just bought this truck on the 9th after years of owning SUVs with little bitty beds on the back. The last full size bed that I had was an 89 GMC conventional cab. V6 just like this one. Since then I’ve owned seven pickups all with short beds and room in the back for kids and groceries. Not any more. I’m totally happy with my Tradesmen. The only thing I might of liked better would have been if it had a standard transmission. My GMC had a five speed on the floor. My first truck I bought in 72. It was a 64 F-100 8 foot bed, 292 V8 and three on the column. Last light Ford with a solid front axle, with leaf springs and a solid front axle and king pins.

I had more long boxed trucks than I can count, BTW none of my Kids where over weight, a few acres is not a farm, that's a garden. where real farmers live.

Sweet truck in red!

Maybe I should keep mine, we could start a Single Cab Long Bed club, and cause a comeback for these simple work trucks.

Those were the days!
