On my 2022 1500 4x4 Laramie, the brake pedal feels soft, about 3" of travel before the feeling of braking. Had at dealer for recall issues, so had it looked at. Tech did not think there was a problem. Just not firm enough, trailer brakes way before truck.

Go test drive a couple ,maybe at a different dealer . That should be enough to get a good base line to judge from . Give fake phone number so they don’t pester you to buy it later.

Like you need more info, how many miles, was it always like this, had any brake work at all ever, you have inspected all of the lines and bleeder screws, yada yada more info more better if you want positive feedback.

Number one cause of spongy brake is air in the lines.

If you have had the brakes bled recently due to brake work you need to also bleed the ABS module to get the pedal firm

I upgraded my brake lines, front & rears, to stainless steel braided. That made a world of difference!

I also run these:
