Just a heads up- prepare for battle getting those lower mounts attached to the LCAs. Hopefully you have torches and large pry bars available as!!
Whats the issue length? Or getting the bolt threaded? My Bils at 2.8 + 1/4” spacer were a beast, but I am 6’4 and 255lbs…I won lol. Pry bar definitely.

They seem to be too narrow to fit over the mount on the LCAs so you have to pull the two tabs apart to get it to fit so you can line it up for the bolt

Gotcha. Reading your mods, you have the top plate on the ICON’s? Did you crank any more preload on them for lift?

I thought about it and then tried to and p****ed out because I didn’t want to scratch them and couldn’t get the jam nut loose

So just set at the factory lift which is 2.5” I think

Okay. Will give it a try and see. I have a 1/4” top spacer too. Were your bolts with the kit long enough?

The bolts from icon were plenty long yeah! With the 1/4 spacer and the lock washers on every time I check the torque on them they’re still solid and don’t move. Been on for about 20k miles so far

With the spacer install tho- if you have a second set of hands available to you it will make a world of difference. Trying to hold the coilover in place and line the bolt and lock washer and spacer up and get the bolt threaded with one set of hands is an incredible headache

I bet. I was thinking about using a bit of RTV to adhere it.

ICON 2.5 installed. I used my 1/4” plate on top. Sourced bolts that were .25” longer to accommodate the spacer. It was not fun lining them up. Used scotch tape lol. Hey it works. SuspensionMaxx arms as well. Height remained the same as Bilsteins. They actually feel softer, but they need ti break in. Will crank on the coils if it settles.

I tried to warn ya! Im surprised you say they feel softer than the Bilsteins- mine felt firmer than the Eibach struts I had on before the icons. We basically have the exact same front end setup now down to the suspension maxx links even!

It was a little bit of a pain, but Im happy now. I have a full set of Core rear control arms delivering tomorrow.
Long tubes going on hopefully next week.
Now I am eyeing the MMX 6.4 intake. Will need a new air intake, Vararam will not work.

I definitely noticed a difference with the core, truck feels tighter-more planted- especially in turns with bumps like off-ramps or construction zones

I have a Freedom Offroad adj track bar already. I got straight replacement Core Arms, but even then they will tighten everything up.
You have nice setup!
I already have a Hellwig with their big ol beefy links.

I definitely have my sway bar links on the other side of the mount/bar, wonder if there's any difference.

Aside from any protentional clearance issues I don't see it making any difference to how it works. It's not changing the leverage that way.

It's like you're attempting a ramforum speedrun haha

Looking forward to the progress.
