Truck is a '13 QC with Hemi. Battery is brand new and healthy. Truck won't start or even turn over with either of my key fobs. No clicks, fuel pump doesn't seem to prime, nothing. Fobs have new batteries installed. Interior and exterior lights work but that's it. No radio or HVAC with key in run position. The gauge cluster doesn't initialize either (the ram logo that pops up).

The weird part to me is that the truck starts and runs fine when OEM remote start is used. I just can't keep it running because the ignition doesn't seem to recognize the fob.

Does this sound like a WIN module problem? I pulled it out and took it apart but didn't see any signs of corrosion or problems on the PCB.

Here's a quick video of what it does when I try using the key.....

Edit: truck also isn't throwing any codes and OBD port has power.

Just wanted to update with the fix for this in case it comes up in a search. The problem was the ignition module. The replacement part that fixed it was part # 68271986AC. It allegedly fits all 2013 to 2018 trucks WITHOUT the push button start. The part was $191 Canadian. It did NOT require programming, both my fobs work and remote start works as well.

Very interesting, my dads ‘16 outdoorsman just had the exact same issue. It turned out to be the cheap Amazon key fob as the original key starts it no problem, otherwise I was going to guess ignition module like yours.

Dakota134...any diagnostic to figure that out or just took the chance on it.

Got a 2011 that does the same thing...no crank, no start but power to everything inside. Just no PRNDL when I put the key in.

I traced wires, swapped in my spare tipm, ripped everything apart couldn't find anything wrong. I even thought my ignition was good when testing. My buddy decided to order the ignition to rule it out as it was cheap. Have you checked the plug behind your brake pedal? I have had what you are saying. It turned out it looked connected but my foot hit the plug and partially disconnected it. Not sure if 11 is same as 13
