House built 2020. Builder installed LiftMaster garage door opener with two rolling code remotes, manufacture date in 2020.

Truck - Ram 2500 from 2018. Just got the truck and was not able to program Homelink to open garage door. Looked at forums, Youtube, Homelink support, LiftMaster support. Left it and came back to it after a few weeks, started all over again, new battery, reset and clear all existing programming after each failure. Nothing worked, every attempt resulted in message "Did not train". When looking at videos about this opener, saw that the remotes had LiftMaster name emblazoned on them. Mine had no name anywhere on them and no other info anywhere, not even on the PCB. I got the idea to buy a replacement remote. Got a Chamberlin branded remote (same company) that was compatible and easily programmed it to the opener. Used it to train the HomeLink and it worked on the first try.

If nothing else works, try to use a new remote to get the HomeLink programmed.
