Do you plug one into the passenger seat as well to stop it from beeping if your passenger doesn't plug their belt right away?
No, but I did use the previously posted technique to kill the seatbelt nanny beep. It also kills the passenger nanny.

When I used the seatbelt belt extender on a car I recently owned, I did regret not buying a second unit for the passenger seat.

I believe they offer a slight price reduction for buying 2 and free shipping in North America.

There are many extenders on the market, I chose this one because it seems well built and the unit I bought for the car is still working well after 5 years.

I don't believe there is anyway to defeat the TPS. I'll be following this if somebody chimes in that it can be easily done.
TPMS can be adjusted, thresholds set lower, or turned off completely with AlphOBD. I think if you check through the list on Tazer it can do it too.

Seatbelt extenders work great, defeats a bunch of the nannies, like backing up or going forward with the door open, seat belt chimes etc. I put one on each seat so you don't have to buckle the belt behind you when working around the farm, driving across ice where you may want to jump out real fast or off roading in real bad terrain. Also did the seat belt chime defeat with the buckle unbuckle listed above on the Jeep and the Ram, worked on both. Also worked on my Brother's 2014 1500.

As far as the warning chimes for error codes or lights, never had an issue with them so haven't tried to turn them down or off.

To turn off the seat belt chime-
1. With all doors closed and the ignition switch in any
position except On or Start, buckle the driver’s seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait
for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds of turning the ignition switch to the
ON position, unbuckle and then re-buckle the driver’s
seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds, ending
with the seat belt buckled.
NOTE: Watch for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn on
while unbuckling and off while re-buckling the seat belt.
It may be necessary to retract the seat belt.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. A
single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully

That should do it.
Did this to mine and my buddies this week, never knew it was a thing! I wonder if this disables the passengers as well or if you have to do them separate

Does passenger at the same time. Issue is, does not get rid of the pop up warning on the screen. Seat belt extenders do get rid of that.

That tweak does both sides on my '21 Warlock. You still get a big red notification on the EVIC though.

That notification briefly monopolizes the display and covers other items I prefer to see and for the cost of the extender, I'm quite pleased to have no more seatbelt nanny stuff.

That doesn’t bother me, I wear mine most of the time.

AlfaOBD will let you change the pressures.

How about it going into park when you open the door? This is a real pain in the butt for me.

The federal government dictates safety even if we do not want it. The USA has more lawyers than than all other nations combined and this makes all manufacturers work hard to avoid legal issues. That said, I like some of the safety features but would really appreciate a shut off mode untill the next start up on many situations if the truck had such a mode.

So you buy a new costly and beautiful truck that is electronically state of the art.
All of these features are safety and convenience related and will usually work flawlessly until you start departing from OEM.
Then you, like some others, are on here describing problems of late by your own doing.
Best advice for any owner today and with the complexity of new vehicles ... leave it alone.
If you have personal issues with the product that you bought, go buy something else. It's simple.

You are entitled to your options and opinion, but there are a great many of us who do not see all of these "Safety" features as a plus. All most are asking for is the ability to easily select the features we want to have and turn off those we don't want.

Prime example is not being able to turn down TPMS thresholds to match the recommend tire pressure for the load being carried. My truck needs 40 pounds in the rear empty, but low warning goes off 20% (52 pounds) below the 65 pound door sticker threshold. That is still 30% over inflated, running empty. Over inflated tires are as big a safety issue as under inflated.

well for me it is simple..I turn off the auto stopping and turn down or off the park assist sound and any vibrating seat or lane change stuff because, well, when I'm driving I dont text or do any other distracting things but look out the window and drive. I leave on the lane assist warning that shows up on my side mirrors when towing because it's handy in letting me know when I have passed a vehicle enough to move over. a couple days after I bought my new '19 it slammed on the brakes in a stop and go traffic jam. I thought "what the hell was that ?" it took me a few seconds to figure out what it was and turn off so it wouldnt happen again. I recently traded for a '22 so starting the process all over again. I think the most annoying one is the led strobe light daytime running lights. at least they only affect oncoming drivers and I dont have to look at them

For:
-Disable exterior back light from turning on @unlock and @Lock
-Disable dashboard lights from turning on @unlock and @door open

These were big problems for me at night when camping--blinds everyone including me. I removed the bulb for the bed light but never found a solution for the dash lights.

Thanks for that. The only thing I would use is the disable tire pressure warnings but once I remove the beeper that wont be as big an issue. Wish I knew someone who had one so I could just use it once to disable the tire pressure warnings.
I was able to turn off my tps sensors through my mini max tuner. Worked perfectly, now I do not see any tps lights on the dash.

If all the new technology bothered me, I would just look for a good used '53 Dodge pickup.

If the PCM believes the seatbelt is plugged in the truck won't go into Autopark when you open the door.

You can plug the seatbelt in behind you or use a seatbelt extender.

I use a one of these when I am backing up the travel trailer and have to jump in and out of the truck a few times or crack the door open to get a better view.
