I just bought a new to me 2019 rebel. Big upgrade from my 2002 1500 I have, now i have time to actually work on it without figuring out how I am going to get to work.

Couple things I've tried searching but no luck finding an answer, maybe im wording it wrong in Google. But the power mirrors continue to try and fold out after they are open all the way. Is there a way to recalibrate when to make it stop?
Second question was if there was a way to add a tailgate that opens from the key fob or have that slow tailgate drop.

I believe you have to manually fold the powers mirror in and push the close button to reset it , also for a slow drop tail gate DeeDee makes a piston that you can buy for 20 bucks from Amazon and attach it to the hinge of the tail gate

I know this is a bit of an old thread but in case anyone is curious I added the remote tailgate drop by simply buying an refurbished OEM fob with the tailgate drop button off of ebay and I had a local locksmith program it for me. $99 for the fob and $10 to program it. My '22 Bighorn was already set up for it. I'm not the only one in here that's done that. But I don't know what the minimum trim level is or what package you need to have to make this ready to go. I have the level 1 safety and level 2 equipment group as well as the factory soft drop tailgate. I had the DeeZee tailgate assist in my last truck and I loved it. It's just as good if not better than the OEM soft drop.

I got the Deezee soft drop and it feels just as good as my dads new truck. Also for trucks that want to add the tailgate drop with a new remote that had the button, but the truck may have not had that option from factory. There is a dealer code that needs to be added. If I find the dealer code again I'll edit this post to put it in.

If your mirrors are still acting up; I had both of mine on a 2019 replaced by warranty. Per my service writer, they updated the mechanism in them after having several do what you’re describing which, is exactly what mine were doing. Assuming you’re out of warranty but you might still try. It never hurts to ask. All they can do is say no.

I totally forgot about warranty lol not used to that at all. In my head I have to fix everything out of pocket like my 02 1500 haha.

What is the warranty? 5 years 100k miles?

It's a 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/60 powertrain on my '22.
