Those Pacificas have crazy room, wish I had one for Disney trips.
I had an 03 Silverado with 325k on it, had my ole lady not totaled it I’d still be driving it. My V is a 13 Hennessey performance build. I can’t get onboard with how round the new ones are, but I’d love to drive the CT5 Blackwing for a day.
That car is sexy AF. I have ceramic coated a few of them!

I need to coat mine, wheels too, brake dust is killer to only get driven a few times a month.
In all honesty Undrdog Protective coating is by far the best driver coating on the market. Its teflon based, but Joel the creator is a great friend of mine. You can use it on everything. Paint, glass, wheels, trim, running boards, and the interior. Its stupid great! My wifes Jeep is coated with it. If you get serious about coating it, PM me and I will walk you through it. Its so easy to apply and easy to remove. I have done everything from Cquartz Professional and Cquartz Finest Reserve. Ive done Modesta BC04 and BC06. I would recommend Undrdog to 95% of my customers as it does what a true ceramic coating does, its just easy to maintain. Ceramics are a lot more of a headache IMO. My truck is Ceramic Coated with the new Koch Chemie C0.02. I like it, but it takes a lot more maintenance.

I have a 2018 Challenger Shaker Scat Pack and I own a 2020 2500 Ram, both have 6.4 hemi. So far no regrets, as far as a Challenger holding it value down the road for an investment, possibly a hellcat or a demon in my mind. That aside, I wish my Ram got the gas mileage my Challenger gets. The last trip my wife and I took in the Challenger on interstate 64 and 81, got 26 and a half mpg. Never has the Challenger gotten below 21 mpg around town. It's not a Sunday driver, it's too much fun to drive to only drive on Sunday.

I like your shipping guards lol....I assume you still have the plastic on all your furniture in the house? Considering how dirty it looks in that pic, I'd love to see what it's doing to the paint underneath them.

There's no paint underneath the guards, and if you actually drive the car, they keep alot of stone scars/curb rubs etc., from marring up the spoiler. If it's a garage queen, take them off,if it's a daily driver i think you're better off leaving them on.They look good if they're colour matched to the car .

If you added them yourself then (apparently) in this country you are allowed to identify by any gender you'd like lol; if you're in Canadia under Trudeau then you definitely can.

Dirt, water, both, etc are going to get in there regardless. They weren't designed to be left on and it's spread like a cancer, even to other vehicles that never came with them:

Well gotta admit your the typical guy that posts about the guards on every facebook page, but doesn't even have a car that's equipped with them, lol.FCA never put them on a painted spoiler,as they don't paint the spoiler on the cars equipped with them.Like i said you'll get more rock scars etc., with out them then the damage the guards will do. BTW there's only 1 pin that holds them on,so they're easy enough to remove when you wash the car ,then put them back on after it's clean. You seem to think they aren't removable for cleaning under them :waytogo:.BTW it's his car,and i'd hazard a guess he doesn't really care what you think, same as me,i couldn't care less what you think,it's our toy,and we'll probably do what we want whether you like it or not:Big Laugh::cheers:
You could of said nice car and left it at that, but no you have to comment on the splitter guards don't you.
BTW whats with the ugly assed running boards on your truck, lol

Oh, are you referring to the factory running boards that don't have "to be removed by dealer" stamped on them.....?
I know how Canada is spelled. Gonna be Canadia regardless.
I know you, YOU of all people aren't trying to take the high road here LMAO, especially based on past interactions with you. Check the hypocrisy at the door.

FCA never put them on a painted spoiler
Say It slowly, SPLITTER GUARD.....wait, is that......paint I see? Even after it being right in the factory warranty bulletin LMAO (guess you breezed right over that one).

Personal opinions here so feel to disregard rather than get angry:

There is no way anyone should buy any new vehical today thinking it will be an investment. It's a depreciating asset pure and simple. Yes, there are cars that are worth more than they cost new, but that's very unusual and takes a long time. Longer than 20 years. I'll use Corvettes as an example since that's what I'm more familiar with. In 2000, I bought a new c5 z51 coup for $42,000. In 2015 I traded it in on a used 2014 Z51 3Lt C7 Stingray coup with 7800 miles. I got $18.5 K trade in on the 2001. I paid $58.5k for the year old 2014 which had an original MSRP over $75k. This was through my local Chevy dealer. The dealer listed the used 201 with 43k miles for $20k. Obviously the original owner of the 2014 took a massive hit on depreciation. I did pretty well on the 2001 as i got 44% of the original price after 14.5 years of ownership.
KBB on the 2014 today is about $43K trade in and $47K PRIVATE PARTYSALE. So on aprivate party sale I could get 80% of what I paid....pretty good really. But if I had bought it for the original $75k, I'd only be getting 62%. Still pretty good for a 9 year old car but obviously not great for that first owner.

To find a Corvette that's valued more than it original sticker you probably have to go all the way back to the C3...which would be at least 40 years old and kind of crappy cars even when new. The really va,unable ones are the C1 and C2 (first and second gen 1953 to 1967).

Then there are electronics. How likely is it that cars made today will still be functioning in 20 years? For the 97 to 2000 C5 corvettes, the chip that makes the anti lock brakes work started failing on some cars and no replacement is available. The only fix is to find a wreck that the chip can be salvaged from. Fortunately the brakes still work and just aren't anti lock any more. I know someone with this problem that "fixed" it by putting a piece of black tape over the warning light. Chevy says they only guarantee parts availability for 10 years from the date of manufacture. Of course my C7 is much more reliant on its electronics. Even the differential is electronically controlled and once needed a firmware update....yes, really. I don't have onstar anyway, but GM sent me a notice a while back saying my car is no longer supported. If I had a '67 I could probably keep it running for as long as gasoline is still being sold using after market parts. Not so much with the cars made today.

I'm not saying don't buy it. What I'm saying is that you have to be buying it for the love. Any hope of it being an investment or passing it on in 20 years is purely a matter of luck.
Didn’t read your whole post, kind of long.
Spent my sports car money on this instead.

I've had three SRT's(a '15 392, '17 HC and the current '20 HCWB) I laugh every time I see someone with these on thinking it makes them look cool. As stated above they do say remove. Even the guy that designed them turned them pink so the water heads would take them off. If you don't go flying down gravel roads(if it is a toy doubt you do) or pull forward up to a curb(which should never be done) all these do is scratch plastic, paint and look horrible. It is worse then the special people that leave the Laguna leather tag on their HC seats.

V's are impressive performers to be sure, but I always felt those year(s) Caddies (pretty much all of them) were designed by the same guy(s) who designed this lol:

The doorstop coupes are an acquired taste, I searched for years for one and almost bought a sedan, but I can’t grasp the whole four door sports car thing. I’ve had a few sedans with Hemi’s, but always am called back to the two doors.
Everyone always asks what kind of car it is, so I nicknamed it the ko-kaine spaceship lmbo.

I take them off every time i polish the car and clean out under them, and there's way less damage to the front spoiler where they sit, then where it's open and not protected from highway road debris, and no the car doesn't see gravel roads, but it does get a fair bit of use on secondary paved roads.Nobody cares if you leave them on or off,but there's always some moron who has to make a comment about them,as evidenced by this thread :Big Laugh:
BTW i've yet to see them on a painted spoiler from the factory,or even seen a painted factory spoiler unless somebody has painted it themselves or had it painted.
Colour matched i actually think the bannana's dress up the front of the car :waytogo:

You stirring the pot over here? Haha. Only real car guys or professionals take that kind of time to detail their vehicles to even notice. Most just go off the mass *un*popular opinions. I had the Charger before the facelift so didn’t have the banana peels to upset anyone with.
