Would anyone know why these wouldn’t work in my truck? Any troubleshooting tips, I did bench test them with the truck battery and they lit up. Just won’t work when installed. 2008 5.7 ram

I tried the install again, and now they turn on when the engine is not running, and after starting the engine and I go to turn the lights on, they flash 5 times and stay off. What gives?

That's weird. I know it's a crapshoot, but have you asked the supplier via that support email address on the tag?

Do you have a headlight out on the dash? Even the 08s were picky.

I am of the impression that 08's were more amenable to LED's than my 05. But I found that Canbus ready meant nothing to my old girl. She needed resistors to work right and I still have the occasional "Light Out" on the dash even though everything is working. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I've got an '08. No setting for led using alphaOBD. Mine turned on but kept blinking. Added resisters but still get an occasional on and off.

A friend of mine had that issue with his Ram. He ended up having to get a 12V harness. It took the signal from the lights and ran it through the battery to get a full 12V to get the flickering to stop. They worked great after that!

You need load resistors as these bulbs don't appear to be CANBUS compatible. The system is detecting too low of current and turning off the lights.

(Don't get me started on the idiot engineer that thought no lights was better than dim lights.)

Have you tried switching the plug around? They have a polarity that some manufacturers get backwards.

Led's need a 12V source. The HIDS work at a 9V-14V rating.

If they are for your low beams, the voltages change. The DRL/Canbus is around 9V -12V. You'll need resistors to make them a constant 12V.

The 08-10's were the trickiest years for headlight/Canbus related issues.
