Just had mine done

Controls left side and horn did not work ! Horn worked from FOB
Dropped off at the dealer as this is above my pay grade lol
They replaced a wire harness ($57.00),Switch ($142.00) Still did not work :O and bad clock spring ($526.00) ! All now works :O
Was it the other parts of just the clock spring ? Will never know :O

Dang, they just replaced your entire column essentially. No, I haven’t got the issue sorted out yet. For $526, I’ll just reach over and change the channel, steering wheel controls aren’t THAT important. Lol

Hahahaha, oh I get it! Well I’m glad you got it sorted! I’ll order a new clockspring soon enough and be done with this truck. It’s time I get a Cummins anyhow.

Back in the day had a Chevy Pick Up with the 350 Gas block Diesel conversion and man could I make it throw a thick Black cloud of smoke to a tail gaiter lol

Question for you
Do you have the service manual for your 2015 ?
If you do and want to get rid of it I would be interested !
I can not find my hard copy and looking for one

Hey guys,
I am having the same issues on my 2013 Ram 1500 5.7L 4x4 replaced the clock spring, replaced the tipm, replaced the multifunction switch, and replaced the negative terminal module as well. All parts were ordered from mopar direct warehouse and still have no steering wheel controls, wipers are going crazy, horn not working, ac not working, all warning lights illuminated such as check engine, abs, etc…. Can anyone please help me figure this out? I am going insane

Dang.. yeah man I’m not sure about that one. Sounds like a malfunction in a major control module module somewhere, possible water damage? Are you throwing any codes?

I had a job on a Jeep recently that lost horn. Owner swore it was a clockspring and he supplied the new one. I installed it like he requested but the real issue was one broken wire. The wire insulation was intact so most people would never find it. But a simple tug test and it ripped apart. To repair, I had just enough wire to solder to the pin and shrink tube it.
Next time its apart tug all the wires and see if any fall apart.

Tons of codes, the main one is the steering control module. Dude,I am at a loss here. Looks like I might have to replace the steering wheel control module again, the bcm, and both can bus modules. Anyone else have any ideas? I’m already well over $2,000 in on repairs

I’d start with each individual code. Research and make calls about common fixes for that code, then move to the next, etc etc. You may have already done this, but in case you haven’t, that’s where I’d start. Another thing you can do is search for all the recalls available for your specific truck (should be a VIN search). Once it’s in the dealership for the recall work, it’s a great way to have them TELL you what’s going on with it versus paying them to diagnose it.

But the horn and airbags won’t work. My screen went out too
