Decided to install the Swing cases I picked up yesterday.

Pretty easy install. 1st one always takes longer, other side was in about 10 mins. Total time…. 1 hour.

Im liking the functionality of them, but still need to figure a plan to incorporate the bed extender when needed as well.

Performance wise I think I'm done, but I've got a couple more cosmetic things in mind on top of what I've already done.

Changed out the stock grill for a gloss black one, and painted the intake to match and added a Hemi sticker for that old skool look. And I found a Challenger at a nearby dealership I wish I could afford so I could have a matching pair.View attachment 521152View attachment 521150View attachment 521148View attachment 521151
Your lid looks great, what'd you use to paint it and tape off for the HEMI lettering? I just picked up a textured black one from @ThunderMug95 and wanna paint it

I just primed it and used Mopar touch up spray paint, comes in 5oz cans. The HEMI is actually a custom sticker I ordered from Vinyl Status.

I've been wanting 1 or 2 of these. Just trying to decide if I want to pay the $205 for these, or the try the less expensive versions for about $120 or so.

I’ve seen the others online as well, but not much write-up, and I’m the type who likes to see the actual product first. Not sure how their installation system works either.

I got the two I did for less than the price of one alone, which was enough reason to take the plunge :waytogo:

Probably the most accomplished feeling I've had in a while. I bolted in an old roof/bike rack from when I had a Mazdaspeed 3. I've held onto this rack system for about 10 years haha. Today's a good day.

My Fourth Gen (2012 Outdoorsman 5.7L - just hit 75K miles) adventures for the week. New (remanufactured) transmission, passenger side manifold (was cracked), three broken bolts on the driver side manifold (dealer done this, so this was on their dime to fix), new brakes all the way around, new plugs, new seals on the rear axles (noticed when the brakes were changed), oil change and new tires.

I had planed on doing everything, except the manifold and transmission. I've had it for 7 years, and this is the first time anything other than routine maintenance has been needed, so if I get another 7 years out of it I figure it will be money well spent, especially as I have no payment.

Truck drove fine, no signs of any issues. I parked it in the drive on a Saturday, stayed home Sunday, went out to go to work on Monday. Started fine with no issues, then I put it into gear to leave and it wouldn't move. The dealer was the same price as anyone I called, and cheaper then a few, so had them do everything but the front brakes (on back order so I went with NAPA Adaptive One for the front), oil change and tires.

The two local shops wouldn't even touch a transmission, said it is a dying art. They both in fact recommended the dealer. And I trust them two gentleman with anything (both have been there for more than 40 years).
