Learned this one years ago from a local detailer. He used to always run a ground wire off the car/truck he was polishing to either a water pipe or to the ground hole on an electrical box,to help keep static electricity to a mininium. I've been doing it since i learned the trick,and find it helps keep dust/pollen etc. from being attracted as much ,when you take the vehicle outside after detailing it.
I think i already posted this tip a year or 2 back,but it's that time of year again for pollen to be a big headache
