I don’t understand why you would want to change from the manual transfer case.. the reason I bought the truck was for the manual transfer case. LOL

You bought the truck for the wrong reason then.

There are still electronics involved. If they dont work, the 4x4 no workie lol.

i have a 2020 PowerWagon. The transfer case is definitely still a manual shifter lol.

But the newer ram 1500 trucks have the electronic shift-on-the-fly case.

(This thread is about a ram 2500 Powerwagon)

Still a lever to pull, but without electronics you will have no 4wd.

Okay MOD'ers I need some help on a couple of Items on my list to finish my Console Swap;

Item 1) Benny (@AllMoparParts.com) and I have been trying to figure out the Harness from under seat to the console

this is my Jump seat Harness which I don't wish to chop as I want to offer it with the Leather Jump Seat I removed
View media item 295472 Large Plugs +USB = Underseat 4 small (1 in middle for DVD) to Jump seat

The USB is the only PN Tag when you look it up it only shows the USB Cable not the rest of the Harness

This is My console connection
View media item 29482
it came with the Connector and about 2 Feet of a Harness that was cut by the Auto Recycler (wish they wouldn't cut Harnesses) again the only PN Tag was on the USB and again that tag revealed on the USB cable not the full harness. I've reviewed most of the Mopar Cab Wiring I could find I just can't identify hereView media item 29550 to the console (tried streaching to the front console connector just not enough wire)

Item 2

this one is more for @56PW17 and other PW'ers I've seen it which is what inspired me (Who puts 6 in a PW and think thats fun rock crawlin?) got my side hole but for the life of me I can seem to get this shifter in place View media item 29551
Advice?

im not going to be any help on the harness. I bought a new one because the wiring side of this stuff is foreign to me. Sorry!
As for the shifter, why can’t you get it into place?

did you bend it to come out of the side/ did you cut and remount the bolt tab so it’s in the correct orientation?
Edit... I can see the tab in your pic. Doesn’t look like you cut it yet. Did you bend the lever? Also I have both levers I bought left over. You want them? good for a test and also you don’t have to bend your original one.

I knew I needed to bend mine so I bought 3rd gen levers. The shape of those was more in line with what I needed to get it to come out of the aide stock rather than the funky straight shape of the 4 gen levers.

let’s see some pics of the lever you are working with. It needed a full 90 degree bend to come out of the side if I remember!

Examples I've seen use the Original Shifter with Modifications to both the inner and outer shells, though I like your mod better as it looked like you didn't mod the outer cover, I've done metal work before but I'm not setup (equipment wise) I can go to a welding shop but I don't think they'll have the care to see it proper. I'll look for those examples (only the finished results never the "how I did this" **sigh**) and post them here

For future MOD'rs that run in to the same question I rediscovered the solution to the console wiring feed question I asked; after watching some old Youtube Vid' (made back in 2014) the Console wiring (Plug +USB) is bundled together along the center hump and excess is coiled under the seat the jumpseat harness is connected to the 3 plugs under the seat. The Console on the other hand is fed from 2 locations 1 Plug under seat that goes under carpet and in the side of the console and from the front via the wiring pulled from under seat (the Single Plug and USB)

took a cue from you @56PW17 and ordered a couple of Gen 2 shifters to play around with

Yup, I know this thread is like 4 years old and I'm resurrecting it. Lol. I found on another forum how to make the t case lever work with the console. But I had a question regarding wiring and I'm hoping someone, or even @56PW17 can chime in... Most of the center consoles I can source come with the wiring harness, but is that plug and play to make things work? @56PW17, I know you said you used your jump seat harness cause you wanted to use car play right away, but how did you get it to work? I have an Android and would use Android Auto instead. I only really wanna do the install once. So any help would be appreciated.
