My driver side mirror glass mechanism has started to click when I put the truck into reverse or change between memory settings 1 and 2. 4 or 5 months ago, I pulled the glass to replace the puddle light. I changed the puddle light on both sides, but what I noticed was that the driver side had around mounting bracket with four clips while the passenger side had a square mounting set up with clips at the bottom and then you just push the top of the glass in.
Has anyone found a replacement mirror that is chrome and has all of the features such as memory, curve view, heated, auto tint, power folding? Can I just replace the motor mechanism in the middle of the mirror?
I appreciate any tips/tricks, leads, or ideas.
