I found this piece of unattached plastic trim in the back of my 2017 Ram 1500, that I purchased in January. It looks like it could be something related to ventilation. Does anyone know what it is?

It is a little over 36" long.

I did not think to look for the Pentastar. Not found. It does say "Cover Cab Brkt" I thought a part with that name, found in a Crew Cab, might be related. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for all your answers.

If you look a the bottom of most large refrigerators, below the doors/shelfs the wheels on both side of the front of the fridge are exposed. looking at your item the curves on both ends are designed to cover the fridge wheels and the vent across the front is just that, to allow airflow to travel under the fridge. My guess, the guy moved a fridge and threw that piece in the truck and never located it again. If you bought the truck from a dealer, his detail/prep guy missed it as well. ride safe , love RAM

Yes, refrigerator ventilation cover. If you don’t need it, throw it out.
